When I reflect on my journey, I can confidently say that at the age of 20, I proudly earned my Diploma in Travel and Tourism. It was during this transformative period that I attracted the attention of numerous businesses, who recognized my potential and entrusted me with the responsibility of managing their social media presence. This marked the birth of my very own boutique social media marketing venture – Strictly Social New Zealand, which has now evolved into the renowned brand People&People. As a self-taught, driven social media marketer, I have consistently honed my skills and surpassed expectations. With an impressive track record spanning over 12 years, I have masterfully managed various blogs, including the highly acclaimed Hawkes Bay Born and Proud.
My expertise extends beyond independent ventures, as I have also contributed my talents to prominent organizations. I have contracted my services for social media channel management, advising esteemed entities such as the Hastings District Council and the Napier City Council. Through my guidance, these councils have successfully implemented cutting-edge strategies, making notable advancements such as rehoming dogs in Hastings District Council and pioneering the live-streaming of council meetings at the Regional Council.
